I saw the news recently of a forthcoming Vintage Surf Day, coming p at Point Leo in November. This follows up some successful events over the last few years that have helped share and celebrate the history of surfing culture in Victoria.
These days are a great way to take a good look at some beautiful old surfboards and other surfing-related memorabilia, not to mention hear some pretty tall stories.
I'll be there to chat and take some photos to capture some of the unique characters and equipment that are bound to be on display.
